Delete Your Account

Deleting your account is an important decision, and we've made it super easy:

1. Navigate to Settings,
2. Select Account
3. Select Delete Account

This will delete your personal data, you won't be able to log in again, and you will be immediately logged out.

If you've taken out a subscription for Lanterns.app, that will be immediately terminated.

What is deleted?

When you delete your account:

• All of your authentication details are deleted
• All of your personal details, such as your bio, are deleted
• We may retain the username that you had associated with your account, and prevent anyone else from using it in order to prevent impersonations.
• All of your private lanterns and lists are deleted.
• All of your public lanterns and lists are deleted. Note though, someone may have made a copy of a list or lantern - the copies that are in use by someone else, are not deleted.
